About Over Current Relay Aditya Single Phase Over current relay are ideal for sensing current faults in any one phase or earth for protection of AC machines, Transformers, Generators etc. The resultant current measured is digitally compared to a settable reference. In case of trip condition trip contacts changeover after a settable time of 1 - 10 sec. This can be used to trip the breaker. Time must be set according to system requirement.
